Please note, to register with Hennessy Machinery Auctions, all intending bidders must pay a €500 fully refundable bidding deposit. This deposit is refunded up to 14 days after the auction ends (once no purchases are made).

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

• All items sold as seen unless otherwise stated by the Auctioneers.
• All bidders are deemed to have satisfied themselves by inspection or otherwise as to the description, size or quantities of any lot.
• Any items that state “plus VAT” on the catalogue will be sold exclusive of VAT. Therefore, VAT of 23% will be added to the hammer price. The VAT docket will be issued to the purchaser by Hennessy Auctioneers.
• Commission will apply to the hammer price as follows:
1. Fees of 10% up to €500, plus VAT @ 23%, per item.
2. Fees of 5% above €500, plus VAT @ 23%, per item.
3. Maximum fees of €1,000, plus VAT @ 23%, per item.

All items must be paid for and collected during the following times:
1. Auction day until 5pm.
2. Monday to Friday – the week following the auction – 9am to 5pm.

In the event of a dispute, the auctioneer reserves the right of settlement.
All deposits are fully refundable if an item is not purchased. Please allow 14 days after the auction ends for the refund to be processed. Please note some banks may take longer.

The Timed Auction will finish on a staggered basis on Sunday, the day after the Live Auction, as follows:
Lots 600 – 649 finishing @ 12.00pm
Lots 650 – 699 finishing @ 12.15pm
Lots 700 – 749 finishing @ 12.30pm
Lots 750 – 799 finishing @ 12.45pm
Lots 800 – 850 finishing @ 1.00pm

** NB: Please note that if someone bids on a lot just before the auction ends, the lot will remain open for a further 10 minutes to prevent "sniping". **
