Arklow is a thriving town that features all amenities for modern day living to include a shopping centre, parks, boutiques, schools, train station, hotels and numerous sporting activities.

This top class farm is located amongst some of Wicklow’s best lands, farmed and maintained to a very high standard by its owners. With extensive frontage to the main L2180 road, the property features 65 acres of zoned mixed use land, offering a substantial development opportunity for the construction of residential accommodation located within Dublin’s commuter belt. The zoned lands are within an area nominated as AAP4 on map included (AA meaning action area). Extract policy wording from the Local Area Plan states:

"Residential Development Objectives H8 Lands at Tinahask (Action Area Plans 1 & 2), Kilbride (Action Area Plan 3) and Coolboy (AAP4) shall be
developed as comprehensive (not piecemeal) integrated schemes that allow for the sustainable phased and managed development of each action area plan during the plan period."

The property also features a farmhouse and a bungalow, both of which will be offered as separate lots, which may suit someone looking for a stand-alone residence just five minutes’ drive from Arklow town.

Coolboy Farm comprises excellent quality land laid out in large workable fields, suited to most farming enterprises including dairying. It comes to the market with approx 113 acres of grass and tillage land, two residences, a yard with a number of cattle sheds, as well as a range of stone outbuildings.
